The F-16AM Falcon FA-87, a part of the Belgian Air Component, gained iconic status during its service with the renowned 31st Squadron, also known as the “31 Tigers.”
In 2011-2012, this particular aircraft was specially painted for the NATO Tiger Meet (NTM), an annual exercise bringing together NATO squadrons with a tiger emblem. The FA-87’s livery for the “Tigermeet 2011-2012” stood out with its striking tiger-themed artwork, blending aggressive stripes and bold colours along the fuselage and tail fin—an embodiment of the squadron’s spirit and the Tiger Meet’s tradition of camaraderie and visual flair.
In 2024, Syhart Decals published a decal sheet for this F-16. I already had a half-built F-16 kit by Kinetic in my stash, so I finished it with these very nice decals!
