The Mosquito is another one of my favourite WWII airplanes. I have had this kit for a year but did not had the chance to build it yet. So, after completing the 1/24 Spitfire, I thought I would it was time for a quick trouble free build and this Tamiya model was ideal.
It took me about a week and a half to complete it and it was a joy. I added cockpit details from Eduard, along with painting masks for the large canopy. I also used metal gun barrels from Master Model.
The painting was done with Midnight Blue from Mr.Paint. Afterwards, some highlighting was done with various mixes of the base colour with white and/or brown.
Finally, I used clay washes for a more weathered look.
